About

Hi, I’m Michelle, and welcome to my site! If we haven’t met yet, here’s a little about me.

I’m a second-generation sign painter and scenic artist who recently made the move to Kaslo, BC. Since 2016, I’ve been bringing bold and eye-catching ideas to life through hand-painted signs and scenic finishes. Whether for businesses or individual clients, I specialize in crafting pieces that are personal, thoughtful, and built to last.

My journey began when I apprenticed under my dad, Rick Janzen, at Streamline Studios Inc. His steady hand and attention to detail shaped the foundation of my craft, and I continue to draw on those lessons today.

Alongside sign painting, I’ve also worked in the film industry across Canada. Here I picked up valuable skills in scenic finishes and aging techniques. These experiences influence my work when I need to add texture or a vintage touch to a project.

Whether you’re looking for a sleek, classic design or something rich in character and patina, I’d love to collaborate with you. I take great pride in turning your vision into a beautifully crafted sign. One that not only enhances your vision, but also honours the artistry of traditional sign painting. Every project receives my full attention, creativity, and a whole lot of heart
